 Join the ASL on Sunday, December 6th at 3:00 PM for a special book signing event with Nava Young at DIESEL BOOKSTORE in Malibu. Nava Young, the daughter of Nat Young, has written a new cookbook titled "Surf Food" that we wanted to share with the ASL. Surf Food is a collection of recipes from the world's best surfers. Including 25 World Champions, these individuals have some of the most envied lifestyles of any sportspeople. This books gives you a glimpse into their world. Featuring informative biographies, over 180 photographs and mouthwatering dishes form all over the globe, Surf Food is surf to keep you both entertained and well fed.  Nava Young is a musician, writer and professional surfer. Raised amid a surfing family in Angourie on Australia's East Coast, the ocean plays a major part in her life. In 2008 Nava graduated from SCU earning a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and International studies. In 2009 Nava published her first book Surf Food, a collection of recipes form the world's best surfers. Also this year Nava has released her debut music EP Salty Lullabies, a collection of her self written songs. Currently rated number 2 in the Australasian Longboard Qualifying Series, Nava will be competing among the worlds best on the 2010 Women's Longboard World Circuit Tour.
